- A developer in nearby Monument had to give up its plans for 175 acres of trails and ballfields in a housing project.
Will the Preble's mouse become a proverbial pest for Colorado Springs
home builders? If the current trend maintains itself, the answer is
unfortunately yes, at least for those builders planning projects in
populous Preble's places. The current market slump and decreased building permit activity also do not help.
