Colorado Rockies could mean business for Colorado Springs New Homes. It turns out we have a few baseball fans at Colorado Springs New Homes. In a recent article out of The Gazette, we find that the Rockies' trip to the World Series will be "a major economic boon" for Denver. Furthermore, the spike in tourism also projects to affect Colorado Springs, with the Air Force Academy and Garden of the Gods leading the sightseeing way. The article goes on to say that media coverage will also pique tourists' curiosity to visit Denver and, subsequently, the Springs. In light of this, I think there is potential here for long-term interest in the Springs.

I can see people from Arizona coming up for a game only to find out their neighboring state is home to one of Money Magazine's Best Big Cities of 2006; indeed - the best. (I can also see Arizonans discovering what it's like to have four beautiful seasons instead of one scorching one - all within a day, even.) Or if they're from the American League rival-to-be city of Boston or Cleveland, I can see people enjoying the appeal of Denver while they're here, but perhaps jaunting down to the Springs only to find that big-city appeal in a smaller, less dense package than they're used to. Regardless of where they're from, we have a chance to make them feel like they're welcome here, in Colorado Springs and at Colorado Springs New Homes, and as the World Series hits stride over the next two weeks or so, we ought to take advantage of the Rockies' by pushing a slumping Colorado Springs real estate market for a World Series-caliber run by converting tourist into residents here at Colorado Springs New Homes.
