This morning The Gazette website was the same as it was yesterday. Upon checking it ten minutes ago, I found a brand-new Gazette website staring at me. And hey, it looks great!

Colorado Springs New Homes New look Gazette

Okay, sure, this isn't exactly Colorado Springs Real Estate news, the thing we're kind of known for here on the blog, but as someone who owns and runs several websites, I understand the importance of tweaking layout and revamping design every so often. And I must say, as someone who visits The Gazette online every day, I am excited about the new look. I think the simple gray background makes a huge positive difference, whereas the entire page on the old site seemed to be white and therefore a bit too plain. The menus are a bit more distinct now, and it looks like they've dedicated five areas of high interest to the main front rectangle, including (right now) election coverage. If you scroll down, you also see they have added a main video section to the front page, and video is certainly becoming a big player in online media, so this concerted addition is appreciated, if not altogether necessary.

Overall, great job on the new site, Gazette!
