Colorado Springs New Homes: Costco

About a month and a half ago, my family and I were having breakfast at The Egg & I over at Academy and Kelly Johnson when a couple guys walked in and started systematically handing out brochures for what was then the soon-to-open Costco being built down on Powers. While we felt the whole thing was a bit intrusive, seeing as how they were handing us the brochures while we were eating, it didn't really ruin our meal because it got us excited about eventually checking out the Costco.

We've heard a lot of good things about Costco, but with the closest one being 60 miles away in Denver, have been using Sam's Club for our bulk and otherwise discount shopping. Well, all that could change if the great things we've been hearing turn out to be true: the grand opening of the new Costco is today.

I don't know when I'll be able to check it out, but I wanted to let you in on the news so you can check it out, too. Although, if you are already a Costco fan, I'm sure you know about this by now, because this Gazette article sure makes it seem like the Costco faithful have been anticipating this opening for weeks, months, and even years.
