The Voice's View on Grey Hawk

Grey Hawk (Estates and Highlands) is being solely developed and built by Richmond American Homes. The neighborhood is located in Northgate with easy access to I-25, Academy School District 20, local shopping centers and restaurants. The single-family homes in Grey Hawk are adorned with distinctive features including tile roofing and elegant exteriors, all for very affordable prices starting in the mid-200s. It is probably the only place you can buy a new single-family home in District 20 at this price.

Grey Hawk Builders

Richmond American Homes is one of the largest national builders, and they have a home office to the north in Denver. Even in a slow market, they are aggressively gaining good deals on land, and they are trying to pass the savings to their customers. Their growing focus on customer satisfaction is highlighted by a strong 10 year structural warranty.

Schools/districts

Grey Hawk is part of Academy School District 20, widely considered the finest school district in Colorado Springs.

The da Vinci Academy is the nearby elementary school. It is a unique community dedicated to the arts and sciences and is where many musically- and artistically-talented students go to school.

The Discovery Canyon Campus is a K-12 school providing a wide range and variety of experiences implementing the application of content-based skills. Many families buy here just for this school.

Pine Creek High School is a well-rounded school with a focus on blending technology and learning. Teachers and students alike use technology in creative and productive ways to enhance the learning experience.

The Classical Academy is District 20's charter school. It has three campuses and is the largest K-12 charter school in Colorado with more than 2,600 students. Their emphasis on learning through observation, narration, dialog and hands-on activity has helped them to consistently place high on academy scoring tests.
