The Voice's View on Cordera

With its lush landscaping standards, Cordera is our Secret Garden of the north. Year-round greenery and thoughtful layout make Cordera a very unique neighborhood. Significant open space has been incorporated into the neighborhood - including parks, walking trails, picnic areas - and it is just incredible; the open space is what people love about Cordera. The community also includes a forthcoming 8,000-square-foot community center complete with a fitness room, meeting room and pool, scheduled for completion by Memorial Day 2008. Cordera is a fairly new community with a lot of room to grow, and its base price range of $305,000 to $450,000 makes for a very reasonable deal. Proximity to shopping centers like The Shops at Briargate enhance the neighborhood's appeal.

Challenger Middle School is District 20's original middle school. It is currently rated in the top 8% of all Colorado middle schools on state assessment tests. Like Mountain View Elementary, Challenger offers a technology-enhanced curriculum.

Their emphasis on learning through observation, narration, dialog and hands-on activity has helped them to consistently place high on academy scoring tests.
